Queens Park Rangers Study Support Centre is an after school project based within QPR football club. The role of the centre is to develop in young people self confidence and self esteem that leads to improved attitude towards learning.

The focus of the centre is to facilitate improved attainment in literacy, numeracy and information communication technology.

The William Wates Memorial Trust supported this project by funding the mini bus and driver supplied by the Community transport of Hammersmith and Fulham. The total funding required was £6,200.00. This support enabled the centre to collect young people from across the Borough from their school and then return them to the school following the sessions within the centre.

This escort service has proved a very important factor in maintaining the numbers of students that attend the centre, allowing equal access for all young people regardless of proximity to the centre.
